TreeLab is a nonprofit greenhouse growing trees and plants to beautify and improve the City of Richmond.

We work with the City government, citizen groups, nonprofits, and businesses to improve our urban environment through locally sourced trees and plants.

Growing Plants: We operate a City-owned greenhouse, specializing in growing native trees available for purchase by businesses and nonprofits. Other woody plants (shrubs, small trees) and perennials are available upon request and for special projects.

Giving Plants: Our nonprofit model allows us to plant trees where they are most needed in the city.

Consulting and Educating:  The TreeLab Manager can provide expert advice to citizen-led and nonprofit projects, as well as provide small-group educational opportunities.

It starts with a park.
