PRCF Out of School Time

PRCF Out of School Time (formerly Send-A-Kid to Camp) works to give local youth a meaningful out of school time experience including (but not limited to) after school sports activities, dance classes, and summer camps. Donations from the annual radiothon are used to provide scholarships to and support all Out of School time activities hosted by the Department of Parks, Recreation and Community Facilities to City of Richmond children.

The department hosts programs daily that include art and cultural enrichment, health and physical education, science and environmental education, and personal and social development. Costs for participation range from free to $25 for a sports activity, $60 for a school year of Before and After School, or $300 for a fun summer at one of the Great Summer Escape locations.

The annual radiothon is made possible through a partnership with the City of Richmond Department Parks, Recreation and Community Facilities, the Enrichmond Foundation, RadioOne, and the Alexander Lance Booker Child Safety Foundation.
