Published on September 20, 2018

We are hiring!
Groundskeeper, Enrichmond Foundation & Historic Evergreen Cemetery

The Enrichmond Foundation activates our region to build a more equitable, healthy and connected community. Evergreen Cemetery is a 19th-century African American cemetery and final resting place of many important Richmond historical figures, such as Maggie L. Walker. Enrichmond has a small staff who are passionately committed, hands-on leaders in placemaking, including 17th Street Farmer’s Market and Events, TreeLab, Enrichmond Partners, and Evergreen Cemetery. Enrichmond offers employees competitive pay and generous leave, professional development support, and the opportunity to be part of making a better City and region.

The Evergreen Groundskeeper is primarily responsible for the maintenance of Evergreen Cemetery and may assist with restoring and maintaining other greenspaces under Enrichmond’s care. The Groundskeeper is also an ambassador for Evergreen and Enrichmond in the community and must be comfortable welcoming relatives, community members and guests of Evergreen.

The Groundskeeper works under the direction and supervision of the Evergreen Caretaker.
